In the Apocalypse with you

About the game:

In the Apocalypse with you is a visual novel game about an outbreak of strange goo creatures and two strangers who meet in a hospital and become best friends, or enemies. It's up to you! Because every choice you make matters, and there are a lot of choices. Who wouldn't wanna be in an Apocalypse with a brave boy and a squishy fella? This game was inspired by a Roleplay (more on that later), so the choices and endings might be a bit similar to the other Endings. Only a bit though. But hey did I mention it has secret endings too? I even write my milestones and progress in a small .txt file called: captains log.txt. Actual updates and stuff will be released on the Devlog though. I would make this game 0$ or donate, but I don't have an account on which I can receive  moneh. But the game is very early access so I doubt anyone would donate lol.

About the story:

You wake up in a hospital on a sunny morning. The nurse brings a new patient into the room and puts his bed next to yours. Together, you have to make it through a horde of goo creatures, face many hazards, and try to defeat the goo creatures (or at least most of them). And while you do all of that, you can get to know each other more and have nice conversations.

Future plans:

Since the original idea of releasing the game with each chapter being its own game seemed kinda inconvenient, we decided to put the game here, and release chapters included in the original game as major updates. That would allow us to easily extend the story (and correct errors of course).

About Lenny (me) and MilaX:

Me and MilaX always used to do Roleplay (SFW obviously), it was pretty fun because we both always had a passion for it. But one-time MilaX suggested: "What if we turned one of our Roleplays into a complete RPG?" I thought that it was a pretty good idea, but once I sat down and try to learn how to use RPG Maker, I quickly learned it wasn't that easy. Then I remembered that we could just use Ren'Py to make a visual novel game about it. MilaX was fine with that. What's funny though is that the game used to just, be a small test for something different we planned. It was called: "hospital story test" or something. But we both put a lot of effort into it and it seemed really fun already, that i just decided to turn that "test" into an actual game. And that's when we actually started to consistently work on it.
